It was not sweaty or hard or "mega calorie burning." That surprised me. It was a little bit like what I expected and not at all what I expected. Even still, I popped the DVD in and decided to give it a go. Plus my workouts are pretty intense and I rely on my recovery days to be true recovery. I don't want to burn "mega calories" and tear down all my hard work. Not all of it muscle (OKAY!) but a very good percentage of it and I'm still in "build" mode. Words like "lose 5 pounds in a week" and "burn mega calories" are not part of the agenda. Crazy, right? Well.I'm in a totally different workout phase right now. Something about Jillian or the wording on the front cover made me afraid to try the workout. But I came across the DVD at the library last week and decided I needed to check it out. At that time I was anxiously awaiting the release of Jillian's Yoga workout and thought it would be called "Yoga shred" or something like that.īy the time it was released, I had forgotten all about it and had moved on to greater strength goals. Was it worth it? How many calories did it burn? Was it everything I hoped it would be.Ī few year's ago, I reviewed Jillian's 30-Day shred and received tons of emails from readers about their experiences with the workout. I reviewed Jillian Michaels' Yoga Meltdown DVD.
